This depiction of a beautiful work of art by the esteemed modernist Indian artist, Ranada Charan Ukil. The work is a soft and flowy depiction of an unknown woman, draped in a blue saree with a green blouse. She is depicted sitting demurely, her half closed eyes visible under the sheer blue saree. Her exceptional jewellery of necklace, bangles, and earrings glint wonderfully. The work is extremely picturesque in its depiction of nature, with lush green grass and leaves with varied colours of brown and green, the colours complimenting the soft blue and green of the woman’s saree. The colours of the work are extremely well done, working in harmony with the use of flowy and elegant linework.
