After a massive flood in Pune in July 1961 heavily damaged much of S.H. Godbole's artwork, this particular piece was among the few salvaged and painstakingly restored by his daughter, Anjani, and his grandson, the artist Mumbiram. It remains preserved within the Mumbiram Art Archive.
