Location History:
The painting was completed in Shimla in 1935. It was exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1936, later shown in Hyderabad, and was included in Sher-Gil's celebrated one-woman exhibition in Lahore in 1937. After Independence, it became part of India's national collection and is now housed in the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi.
