The center figure seated calmly and the miniature work confirms that it resembles a scene from the Mughal Era. Bright colours are used to indicate happiness/ joy... and suggests the scene of welcoming. The Border of the painting is set in gold, red, and blue rulings in a border with gold landscape, bird and animal motifs, mounted within borders of a Rawdat al-safa page as per National Museum site. The scene unfolds in the interior, and a horse is shown at the bottom maybe showing the army strength subtly.
