The painting beautifully captures both sides of war beautifully that also through the medium of an art form, music. It shows how art is present in every form of society in the Mughal era. The artist captures such a vivid scene in the beautiful clean arrangement of all the characters from the Kings to the soldiers. The dress of the elephants havid detailed pattern design show the mastery of the skills of the artist and it is really colorful and thoughtful to storytell in this manner in Mughal miniature paintings.
