The following painting presents a women in wearing a red dress looking to her side, the background is simple but it makes the viewer question what she is looking at, as it seems there is nothing outside of the artwork. The position of her hand makes the viewer believe there is no danger and due to her expression she may be waiting for someone. Although the real interpretation is unknown the simplicity of the artwork it is what makes it interesting.
