Nainsukh’s early Pahari masterpiece *The Trumpeters* masterfully transforms ordinary musicians into a lively, refined scene. Through dynamic poses, angled *turhi* trumpets, and individualized expressions, he creates rhythmic energy without clutter. Combining Mughal-inspired naturalism with delicate brushwork and restrained backgrounds, this Guler-period work brilliantly highlights Nainsukh’s exceptional power of observation.
