Horsewoman (also referred to as The Horsewoman or Rider) is an extraordinary work of Russian Romantic period art by Karl Bryullov. The work is exceptionally well crafted and composed. The horsewoman, in her beautiful blue and white dress, captures the attention of the viewer. The horse itself is shown in a state of dynamic motion, its power and strength clearly visible. We see others also excited by the occurring scene, such as the little girl and the dogs present in the work. The intricately done background of the imposing building and lush greenery adds to the beauty of the work, making a truly eye catching work of art.
