‘Rebecca at the Well’ is an art piece by Francesco Solimena, an Italian painter and draughtsman. Eliezer realising that she is the chosen one, gifts her two golden bracelets as shown in the painting marking her as the future bride of Isaac. The painting shows lightning flash and bright colours to highlight the muscular and drapery style of the figures. Even the twisted posture of Rebecca and upright standing of Eliezer hints at the High Renaissance anatomy style. A sudden and sharp lightning comes across the whole canvas. Rebecca, just like the biblical story is also seen as the central figure in this artwork, standing in grace with a jug of water. Eliezer and his perhaps apprentice are shown in muscularity, with the chief servant draped in robes and carrying a quiver with arrows.
