"Playing Flute under the Moon" by Fei Danxu immediately gives a sense of peace and meditation. The artist is quite talented in his ability to create a serene scene without resorting to any sort of action. This work is a depiction of an idyllic fusion of music, nature and human soul in which gentle lighting, gentle strokes and subdued colors are used to give a dreamy effect. To me, flute is the medium of emotional outpourings while moon is the symbol of purity and wisdom.
