Rabindranath Tagore is known worldwide for books, Gitanjali’. For his novel, ‘Gitanjali’ Rabindranath Tagore won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. Became the first Asian to win a Nobel Prize. Rabindranath Tagore was mainly known for writing. Later Rabindranath Tagore also became a skillful painter. Tagore’s paintings have lines, dark colours, simple shapes and creative ideas.
