In 1994, The Sarada Ukil School of Art, was officially approved as a school for art teachers, which is now one of the oldest, formal art institution in New Delhi, which now specializes in teaching modern Indian art forms, focusing heavily on immersive skill development. Pioneered by Sharada Charan Ukil who was a film artist as well, this art school started after breaking away from the Delhi school of art by Sharada Charan himself. The given painting that is the " Journey of Shiv and sati " is one of the most celebrated paintings captured by the brushstrokes of Sharada Charan Ukil.
