This painting shows courage working together and the will to beat hard challenges. Hanuman, Angada and Jambavan climbing Mount Mahendra shows a feeling of getting ready for something big. The strong land, tall rocks and the way the people are placed all make the eye look up which shows moving toward something better. I like how the background is quiet and the people have colors. That makes the people move and be different from each other more clear. The picture also shows how important working with others is. The task is not shown as one person being brave but as part of a bigger group trying to find Sita. For me the main idea of the painting is that bravery gets stronger when it has help, from thinking being loyal and sharing the work. It takes a moment from the Ramayana. Makes it about staying strong doing what is right and believing even when things are not clear.
