In this artwork, the sheer brilliance of colour is abundantly seen. Chitraman exquisitely uses the sunset parting from the clouds to show the emperor's greatness, as if heaven had parted for the Emperor himself. The use of gold on the pillars to create the intricate design and the tidy garden shows the attention and care the gardeners and architects have while making the palace. The falcon symbolises the great power and silent strength of an emperor. The entire scene of silent power and quiet tenderness is watching the sunset. That even emperors like such mundane beauties of the world.
