A daybed, bamboo, potted plants, and screens create an intimate setting of a private chamber where the trickster Qin Jo-lan is asking Tao Gu to present a lyric.

For me, it is fascinating how the artist depicts the transience of earthly goods with exceptional precision using a single scene.
