Location History:The painting was created in the Mughal Court in circa 1660 but was brought to the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin,Ireland in the year 1930.

The artwork is made by Mughal royal painter Hashim. It depicts emperor Aurangzeb on an hunting expedition trying to hunt Nilgais. Aurangzeb is found using an early matchlock gun to hunt. He is seen accompanied by two attendees in the hunt.
